A new Story

Karen was our first and much loved child, sister to Martin who was born two years later. She was a live wire from the start walking at 10 months and riding a two wheeler bike without the aid of stabilisers after two or three attempts. Sadly Karen developed epilepsy and life changed for all of her family. Karen was 36 when she was found dead in her bed in the supported living flat she had lived in for some seven years. It was at that time we realised how much she had touched other people's lives as we were overwhelmed with the love and support we received. The crematorium was full and people were standing two deep which was such a tribute to a troubled life. A life that was also blighted with autism so that Karen lived n a state of constant anxiety. Life was difficult with her but it does not compare the life without her. We miss her calls and words of love, we miss her hugs and kisses.
